Emily-Kate McNamara
Hello and welcome!
I’m a neuro-diversity affirming occupational therapist working in the community in the mid and upper Blue Mountains. Living and working in the Blue Mountains, I love being out in the community and enjoying the beauty the mountains offers.
My approach incorporates play and sensorimotor techniques, allowing me to meet you and your child where you are at, on your therapy and developmental journey. Together, I’m excited to work towards achieving your child’s goals one step at a time. I am an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in both clinic and community OT settings. Over the past few years, I have been working closely with local schools and preschools in the Blue Mountains, providing support to children, families and staff within their learning environments.
I recognise that each person is distinctly unique, and that’s why I believe there isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. I’m excited to get curious, connected and playful in our sessions, working alongside your child, your family and your child’s teachers, to support their growth and learning.
